WACO, Texas — The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced its February Riders of the Month on Wednesday, March 7th.
The TCU Horned Frogs earn two NCEA monthly honors for February. Jayme Omand, a Senior from Sacramento, CA earns Equifit Equitation on the Flat Rider of the Month after posting a 4-0-1 record and bringing home one MOP honor. Sophomore Laska Anderson picks up another monthly accolade with Shorty’s Horsemanship Rider of the Month after posting a 4-0-1 record and two MOP honors. This is Anderson’s second consecutive NCEA Rider of the Month award.
The Equifit Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month honor goes to Taylor St. Jacques, a Freshman for the Auburn Tigers from Glen Allen, VA. St. Jacques won three-straight MOP honors and went 5-0 in February.
Hannah Mitchell, a Sophomore for the Oklahoma State Cowgirls picks up the Shorty’s Reining Rider of the Month after a perfect 4-0 month and earning two MOP honors.
