NC State Will Host 2014 Equine Health Symposium, Feb. 8-9

The North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners is hosting the 2014 Equine Health Symposium on Feb 8 and 9, 2014. Topics of discussion will include podiatry, rehabilitation, and nutrition.
On Feb. 8th and 9th there will be lectures and demonstrations for veterinarians, farriers, and technicians.
On Feb. 9th, the lectures will be for horse owners and enthusiasts.
- This event will provide attendees with the most up-to-date information on a variety of topics with a focus on laminitis and lower limb lameness.
- Topics include: infectious disease, team approach to hoof care, what to expect with referral, anatomy of the hoof, and much more. Come learn from CVM faculty and regional veterinarians about topics that matter to you and your horse!
