Bobby Kerr and his Mustang gelding, Poncho, are traveling to New York to make a guest appearance on “Good Morning America,” Monday, Dec. 9. Kerr will be promoting the miniseries “Mustang Millionaire” that is scheduled to air this month on Nat Geo WILD.

Kerr of Hico, Texas, is one of five Mustang trainers that will be featured in the three-part miniseries that documents the road traveled to compete in Mustang Million 2013, the richest, wild horse training event produced by the Mustang Heritage Foundation in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management. Mustang Millionaire is produced by ABC News’ Sixty Six Media for Nat Geo WILD.

Kerr placed second and third in the Mustang Million Legends competition, earning more than $160,000. He is also a former Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover champion. Kerr currently travels the United States performing specialty acts with Mustangs acquired from the training events. “We are very excited to make an appearance of this magnitude,” Kerr said.

Patti Colbert of the Mustang Heritage Foundation is overwhelmed about the opportunity to showcase these horses. “We are proud and honored to have a Mustang and a wonderful representative of the Mustang Heritage Foundation on national television.”
