Multiple APHA World Champion Kassi Jones Signs With TCU Equestrian Team

FORT WORTH, Texas – The TCU equestrian program announced the signing of Kassandra Jones Friday afternoon.
“We are thrilled to add Kassi to our Horsemanship squad,” said TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield. “She is stellar in the classroom and a true competitor in the arena. We are confident she will make an immediate impact on our team.”
Jones, who hails from Pennsylvania, will don the Purple and White after compiling a distinguished APHA career. A two-time World Champion in Showmanship, Jones recently claimed APHA World Championship accolades in Horsemanship, while also being crowned the 2015 APHA World Champion in Trail. She also garnered Reserve World Champion honors in Hunt Seat Equitation during the 2014 show season.
Jones, who has placed in the APHA Top-20 during her prep career, graduated from Williams Valley Junior/Senior High School where she was a multiple-time Honor Roll student, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
