Mississippi QH June Show Cancelled Due to Protest Concerns

The Mississippi Quarter Horse Association was excited about our welcome back horse show at the MS State Fairgrounds, June 6-7, 2020. It has come to our attention that there are planned protests in the downtown area on Saturday June 6th. While we feel the risk of violence is very low, based on protests this past week in the Jackson area, after listening to our membership,consultation with the fairgrounds management, and concern for our members and friends, the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Quarter Horse Association with sad regrets, has decided to cancel the June 6-7, 2020 show. Please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers, and we look forward to seeing you all in September
