AQHA Region 5 exhibitors are preparing for the 2017 Merial AQHA Region Five Championships, which is quickly approaching. The show, slated for June 21 at Gloucester County Dream Park in Logan Township, New Jersey, provides American Quarter Horse enthusiasts a chance to test their horse-showing skills.
The Merial Region Five features a one-day event packed with a variety of classes, starting with showmanship at 8 a.m. on June 21. AQHA judge Sally Puzacke will judge the event. For a full show itinerary, visit www.njqha.com. (Note: Halter classes will not be offered at the Region Five Championships.)
“These shows are the best way for exhibitors to get their feet wet in AQHA championship events,” said Charlie Hemphill, AQHA director of shows and new events. “Thanks to the help of our partners, competitors will be vying for some great prizes at each of the Regional Championships.”
Regions 1, 2 and 6 will also hold Regional Championships. Exhibitors from every region are invited to attend a Regional Championships, but an exhibitor may only compete at one Regional Championships per year.
