Meet 2021-2022 Team Wrangler Professionals With AQHA

Team Wrangler, a joint effort between Wrangler and the American Quarter Horse Association, promotes educational outreach for the horse industry. The 2022 team is as versatile as the American Quarter Horse, comprising top AQHA Professional Horsemen from across disciplines – from halter to all-around and roping to racing.

The team is comprised of 24 professional horsemen and -women selected through one of the following criteria:

  • Top point earners category where the top individual in the six categories of halter, pattern, timed events, over fences, rail and cattle from the 2020 and 2021 world show qualifying period were selected for the team.
  • Affiliate MVP selection where six professionals were selected as a State Affiliate MVP in either 2020 or 2021 and were voted on by the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Council.
  • Open voting where a ballot that had all AQHA Professional Horsemen in good standing listed and posted on the website for members to vote and select 12 professional horsemen and women.

At the 2021 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show; AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan); Adequan® Level 2 Championships and Nutrena Level 1 Championships, Wrangler donated $20,000 to the American Quarter Horse Foundation for the Guy Stoops Professional Horsemen Family Scholarship Fund. This donation will help provide scholarships to children of AQHA Professional Horsemen.
