Love is in the air, and it isn’t just because Valentine’s Day is less than a week away! Mark Harrell Horse Shows hosted a brand new event for 2015, the Love Circuit, February 6-8th at the beautiful Fox Lea Farm in Venice, Florida.
The circuit provided AQHA members with the opportunity to compete at two complete shows and a special event. The Special Event Trail and Working Hunter show kicked off on Friday and was judged by Sissy Anderson and David Denniston. Liz Baker and Kristin Freeman-Lowry joined Anderson and Denniston to officiate the remainder of the show over the weekend.
On Friday, the show also offered National Quarter Horse League classes including Huntfield Beval Amateur Equitation Over Fences Medal and Huntfield Equine Chronicle Youth Equitation Over Fences Medal. Winning the Amateur Equitation Over Fences class was Thomasa Tompkins Sanchez. Taking the top spot in the Youth Equitation Over Fences class was Lily Beaty. The Reserve Champion was Meghan Clouden.
