The American Quarter Horse Association has released the list of open and amateur exhibitors who are ineligible to enter and show horses in the Adequan® Level 2 Championships at the 2019 Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show, tentatively scheduled for November 7-23 in Oklahoma City.
The horsemen and -women on this list are competitors who have proven their skills in the show pen and are considered highly accomplished competitors by AQHA and its alliance partners. This list is compiled by factoring in AQHA points, championship titles and alliance money earned outside of AQHA competition. At the direction of AQHA’s leveling task force, more detailed information has been provided within the list regarding specific earnings restrictions from each alliance partner.
“Most of our alliance partners level their competition playing field on money earned by their exhibitors; AQHA exhibitors are leveled by points earned and by winning an AQHA world or reserve world champion title,” said Pete Kyle, AQHA chief show officer. “By combining both methods, we look to further level the playing field and protect the integrity of the Adequan® Level 2 Championships at the Lucas Oil World.”
