Latest Results and Photos From 2015 Stars N Stripes and Big A

The 2015 Stars N Stripes and Big A has reached the seven-day mark in Conyers, Georgia, and today’s schedule is full of exciting special events.

The ChelMar Farms Painted Pony Decorating Contest is currently underway until 10:30 am. The Stock Market/GQHYA Dog Show will begin at 11 am and continue to 12:30 pm, and the ChelMar Farms Painted Pony Show will take place from 1-2 pm.

Because of the overwhelming response to today’s National Quarter Horse League Huntfield Derby, the estimated start time for the Low Derby has been moved up to noon. There will be 36 entries compete for the top title as well as cash and prizes. The High Derby has an estimated start time of 6 pm with 19 entries. Overall, competitors can see around 80 Derby runs today “under the lights’ of the Georgia International Horse Park!

At 7 pm, competitors and spectators will gather on the green for the Equine Sports Medicine/Powder Brook Farm/GQHA Exhibitors’ Party and Derby Hat Contest to take place at 8 pm. Stay tuned for fun photos!
