Ranch riding, cutting, working ranch and cow horse set the tone for the 2021 AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships, which features the top exhibitors and their ranch-bred American Quarter Horses. The show started at 7 a.m. on June 22 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, and runs through June 26. The event will culminate with the VRH World Champion and NRSHA All-Around Awards Ceremony at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, in the Lazy E Arena.
The AQHA VRH World also plays host to the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals; AQHA Cattle Level 1 Championships, presented by the Four Sixes Ranch; and the National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance National Championship Show.
“Exhibitors competing at the 2021 AQHA VRH World are making history with AQHA,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “This year’s show is the largest in Association history, with a 30% increase in the number of entries and more than 200 first-time exhibitors, all competing for top honors and a chance at over $250,000 in cash and prizes. We are honored to be back at the Lazy E and working with so many great partners to produce the most prestigious ranch horse competition in the country.”
