SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Compassion, integrity, sportsmanship, class. These are values that are synonymous with the Kimes Ranch brand. When Kimes Ranch announced the finalists to their newest country artist contest, Rob Carona and Angie Keilhauer showcased these same values. The race was tight, Keilhauer was announced the winner, but both artists remained graceful.
In a Facebook post following the news of the contest winner, Carona says, “In every contest, there is one winner and that’s just how it goes. Angie is an amazing talent and is deserving of the win. Trick Pony and Kimes Ranch, THANK YOU for this opportunity!”
Following the news of Angie Keilhauer’s win, Keilhauer came to Kimes wanting Carona to still be a part of the show.
“I just know he worked just as hard as I did, and I think it would be a lot of fun to do together,” Kielhauer explains.
Keilhauer offered to pay for Carona’s ticket and his fare to the event from her prize money in order to have him there. When the idea was brought to Trick Pony, to include Carona in the show, they were thrilled!
Heidi Newfield of Trick Pony posted on her Facebook page, “She (Angie) stepped up and showed true creative camaraderie by offering to purchase Rob’s airfare, and asked to include him in opening the show in Columbus Ohio on Oct 22nd! How cool is that?!? I am thrilled to announce that Rob Carona will be appearing on this show as well as Angie. We can’t wait to meet you both and watch you rock out in Columbus!”
Carona will be playing an acoustical set before Keilhauer opens the show. To piggyback the sportsmanship shown by these two musicians throughout the competition, Kimes Ranch is offering Carona a sponsorship for 2017 along with Keilhauer.
“Both of these artists showed so much class throughout the contest. They were kind and gracious towards one another and the comments from their fans showed that they were truly that way to everyone. These are qualities we look for in our endorsees (which we also call family members) and we are thrilled to have them both as part of the Kimes Ranch Family for 2017,” announced Kimes Ranch Sponsorship Coordinator Lainey Smith.
Trick Pony will be headlining the VIP concert, an event put on by Kimes Ranch to show appreciation to their customers. The concert kicks off October 22, 2016 at 7pm.
