Kick Start 2014 With The 2014 Palm Beach Series at The Ridge at Wellington January 4-5

Wellington, FL – January 1, 2013 – The Ridge at Wellington will kick off the New Year with their first schooling show of the 2014 Palm Beach Series this January 4-5, 2014. The Ridge at Wellington’s monthly schooling shows will continue to run the first weekend of every month with the hunters on Saturday, and the jumpers taking their turn at the track on Sunday. The January Schooling Show is the perfect way to prepare for the winter season, offering an array of classes for every level of experience. Each schooling show offers Marshall Sterling Points, as well as Hunter Derby Classes. The shows will run through their last double-point show on April 5, 2014 where they will award their schooling circuit awards.
In additional to their highly popular schooling shows, the Ridge at Wellington will once again welcome competitors to their facility for the Tuesday Equitation Series. The first show of the series commences Tuesday, January 7, 2014. The Tuesday Equitation Series is USEF recognized and allows the WIHS Medal, ASPCA Maclay, Children’s Equitation, Adult Amateur and Pony riders the additional chance to qualify for their respective Equitation Finals. New to the series this year are the qualifying classes for the Southeast Medal Finals.
The Ridge at Wellington is a fantastic venue that offers state-of-the-art footing, as well as an affordable showing rate. The relaxed environment at the Ridge at Wellington provides divisions at all levels, and also provides temporary stabling for all events. The Ridge at Wellington’s 2014 Palm Beach Series has four available weekends. The Double Point Series Finale and Award Presentation will take place during the April show dates. Riders can look forward to classes for all experience levels, and will be able to show in a relaxed environment with an “old fashioned” atmosphere. Saturdays will offer hunter and equitation classes, while Sundays will stand as the jumper days.
