The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and American Paint Horse Association (APHA) will conduct the next AQHA / APHA European Judges Seminar on March 26-30, 2014, at the Business-Sporthotel in Grosswallstadt, Germany, about 80 km (50 miles) from Frankfurt.

In addition to providing an excellent educational opportunity for anyone interested in expanding their judging knowledge, potential judge applicants will have the opportunity to test to become an approved AQHA European Judge and/or APHA European Judge.

The seminar will offer one day of continuing education for carded European judges on March 26, two days of classroom instruction on March 27-28, followed by two days of testing for judge applicants on March 29-30.

Equine judging professional Joe Carter and AQHA Executive Director of Judges Alex Ross will lead the educational sessions. A variety of material will be covered including the current rule books and 11 classes: halter, Western pleasure, hunter under saddle, Western riding, trail, showmanship, Western horsemanship, hunt seat equitation, reining, working cow horse and cutting.

The deadline to submit the AQHA/APHA European Judges application is February 10, 2014.
