A couple of months ago, we let our readers know that StallWatch portable video surveillance would be featured in a special edition of Rick Lamb’s “The Horse Show,” that airs weekly on RFD-TV. The setting for the informative video was AQHA horse trainers Jim and Deanna Searles’ picturesque Circle S Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Within the video, Darla Duncan of StallWatch joins Lamb to explain the innovative technology that allows wireless video of your horse to be streamed, 24-7, to your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Then, to show just how easy installation is, Lamb helps Duncan install cameras in the barn aisle, for AQHA stallion Allocate Your Assets, and a customer’s hunter, Lyles Al Lie.
The behind-the-scenes video provides an inside look at the technology supporting StallWatch and shows how quick installation can be when you arrive at the horse show. Thanks to technical support from Verizon wireless each camera can be placed within a 75 foot radius of the StallWatch box to set up the live video feed.
One of the best parts is the 30 day video loop that’s stored on the company’s Cloud, which allows you to go back and review video you might have missed. Whether you missed a foal being born, someone was hurt at the barn and you don’t know how, or a saddle mysteriously walked out of the tack room, StallWatch has the solution.
