So many precious memories of Peg ! She was always there to give me advice and be my Friend. I loved our talks! If there was anything you needed to know about dealing with AQHA she was the women to get you in the right direction. She was a kind and loving person. I was just texting with her the other day and now I can’t believe she is gone. But I’m glad she got to enjoy 1 last Pumpkin roll my mom made for her which she loved so much. I know she will be watching over us. ❤️🙏🏻

I moved to FL in 2018 and met Peg at the Gulf Coast. Later at the show I introduced her to my husband as “Peggy” and was kindly, but firmly, told she was NOT Peggy. We had many good conversations at subsequent FQHA shows. She was like a horsey grandmother to me. She will truly be missed.

How we loved seeing Peg at the shows (nineties), and always brought her some jelly beans. So comforting just knowing she was there. What a great loss.

Much Love and Respect!!
I’ll miss you, Peg. You were so kind to help my parents park their motor home in the late 1980s. She also asked me to help the office break a tie in high point awards. Though I had truly won 4 of the classes and would remain over all Highpoint rider of my last youth show in Tampa orange blossom (she asked) if I would consider letting the other contestant be the champion of one of my classes to help her family through a difficult time in her life and be recognized as the champion. I am so grateful she knew this would be a pivotal event for me as a contestant and a young leader in our sport. I cherish her no nonsense Ethics and honesty love of the sport. God Bless you, Peg.
Love, G-man

Great lady with a heart of gold. I will never forget the time the Ringling brothers after they left in 85/86 abandoned a scraggly little dirty white dog and she took him in had him bathed and neutered kept him in office looking like a million dollars and lots of love. That was Peg. R.I.P. you will be missed. 🙏
