With great sadness, we relay the news that the World Champion, World Champion Sire, and Congress Grand Champion, Heza Stemwinder, was recently euthanized after a short illness. All of us that love our horses dream of having that one horse that can be a true champion. He was ours.
There are many who were part of his successful career, and we are so grateful to each of you! We have to especially thanks Randy Jacobs, his family, and everyone in his barn that loved, cared, and supported Stemwinder. We knew from his beginning that he would be a champion, and Randy gave him every chance and saw it happen. Thank you!
We also want to thank Steve Ferguson and Twin Lakes Ranch for standing him and letting him enjoy those beautiful pastures that he loved. At age 5, Steve prepared him to come back to the show pen, winning two more World Championships. Thank you!
And lastly, Buddy Talbert, for giving him the life a true champion deserved, right to the end. Thank you!
Stemwinder, you were a dream horse for a couple of country kids and proof that dreams do come true!
Love,
Greg, Gi, and Opal Davis
