Our friends, Charlie Cole and Jason Martin, of Highpoint Performance Horses have a lot to celebrate this holiday season. Their black, AQHA stallion, Slick By Design, ran to a Round 4 win in Las Vegas at the 2016 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. In the saddle of Slick By Design was his longtime rider, Michele McLeod.
Michele and Slick won the round with a 13.49 second run, which was worth $26,231. According to Barrel Horse News, the time was only .12 seconds off the arena record set by Taylor Jacob in 2013, a 13.37.
Good luck in the upcoming rounds. Go Slick and Michele!
