Jaw-dropping ads. Cutting-edge designs. Best in class gems. Hannah Fine Jewelry has been setting the standard for high-fashion jewelry since the 1990s and continues to be an industry leader.

Read on as we talk to co-owner and lead designer Hannah Casper about how they started, what they do to deliver the high quality jewelry with cutting-edge design to their customers, and where they are headed next.

The Origins of Hannah Fine Jewelry

Ronnie and Hannah Casper are partners in both business and life, and their partnership is owed in no small part to their love of horses–but Hannah Fine Jewelry was born out of a combination of Ronnie’s career as a horse trainer and Hannah’s expertise in fine jewelry.

Hannah attended The Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, California in 1989, then went to work following her passion in the world of fine jewelry. Her career has included work as a diamond buyer as well as time spent in Ocala-based jewelry stores. It was when they began traveling to more horse shows that Hannah stepped back from her work in stores so she could attend the shows with Ronnie.

As Casper recalls, “I pitched an idea to take jewelry to horse shows, but the store I was working for didn’t go for it, so I designed and sold it myself. I had a box that I carried around.”

Hannah Fine Jewelry was born and it’s probably not a stretch to say that the Ocala jewelry store Casper worked for may have some regret over not taking the idea for themselves! Casper continues, “We expanded when we went to Congress and I started doing some jewelry for some country music artists and professional athletes. What carried us forward through the years has been the amazing clients with AQHA and APHA that we’ve had lasting relationships with.” As far as working with her spouse, she beams, “It has been so nice to be able to go to shows and work together.”
