Graf and Eichstadt Win Over Fence Classes at 2015 AQHYA World

Emma Graf and One Sweet Mercedes take a victory lap after winning the Working Hunter class at the 2015 AQHYA World Show.

The first three World Champions of the morning were crowned during the high flying action of the Over Fences classes at the 2015 AQHYA World Show.

First up, Emma Graf rode her bay gelding, One Sweet Mercedes, to win a World Champion title in Working Hunter. Graf’s horse is by Art I Sweet and out of Like A Mercedes. The Reserve World Champion was Monika Zoromski with Rockin Kelvis, a gray gelding by Kelvis and out of Moon Feather Rock.

Coming in third place was Madison Eichstadt with Its My Lucky Detail. Fourth place was Makayla Flowers with Air Zip. Rounding out the top five was Abigail Hardy with My Secret Past. Judges for the class were Dianne Grod, Lainie DeBoer, Kim Hall, Jennifer Lecky, and Chele McGauly.

Madison Eichstadt returned from her third place finish in the previous class to win the very next event, Equitation Over Fences. Its My Lucky Detail is by Last Detail and out of Run To Seattle. The Reserve Champion was Erin Gordon with An Indian Breeze, a sorrel gelding by Indian Artifacts and out of Ms Impressive Breeze.

The third place team was Alissa Zwelling with Kentucky Blue Sky; this pair was also the 13 and under winner. Fourth place was Madeline Keyes with Classic Circle. Fifth was Natalie Vargo with Art Of The Deal. Judges for this class were Dianne Grod, Lainie DeBoer, Kim Hall, Jennifer Leckey, and Chele McGauly.

Then, Madison Eichstadt returned to the pen once more and claimed the World Champion title in Jumping after a clean round in a high stakes jump-off. The Reserve Champion was Alexis Taylor with Ain’t Life Sweet. Third place was Savanna Metheny with Northern Skys. Fourth place was Rebecca McCrea with Dancin Indian. Fifth place was Emma Graf with One Sweet Mercedes.
