The Gordyville Shootout (six AQHA shows and NSBA classes) was a big success this past weekend. The show recorded over 3,800 entries and hosted the $1,000 added Showmanship and Western Pleasure Shootout, which invites all first and second place class winners throughout the winter and spring circuit shows.
Patty Bogosh was the winner in both Shootout classes. She became the third exhibitor to be a double winner, joining Caitlyn McGinty and Jessica Baird during the last 25 years. She walked away with $500, a custom silver bit, silver show halter, and other prizes sponsored by Gordyville, Pard’s Western Shop, Healthy Hair Care, and Tribute Equine Nutrition.
The Winning Groom of the “Best Groomed Horse” in the Shootout Showmanship was Brad Dohm, who groomed Anne Demirjian’s entry. He received an arena bag filled with Healthy Hair Care products.
Gordyville hosted a get-together on Friday evening with a taco bar, margaritas, beer ,and Jody’s famous limeade.
