Fort Worth’s most-anticipated annual event starts Friday, January 12, when the legendary Fort Worth Show Show & Rodeo bursts on the scene for an energetic and entertaining three weeks of “Buck, Sweat and Steers.”
Ranching Heritage Weekend gets things started with some of the most prestigious ranches in the Southwest competing for championship team honors in the Best of the West Ranch Rodeo. Besides the various competitions, auctions and other events, music from the Coors Light Roadhouse will be pulsating with the sounds of the Andy Meadows & His Big Band, Billy Mata & the Texas Tradition and Banda Santa Cruz.
The Jr. Agricultural Mechanics Project Show will display the mechanical skills of the Texas 4-H and FFA youth and Fort Worth’s ties to her Hispanic heritage will be featured on Sunday when the Best of Mexico Celebración caps off the fun-filled weekend.
