Former AQHA Competitor, Julia (Dawn Taylor) Cheek, Scores Historic Deal on Shark Tank!

Our readers may recognize the name, Julia Dawn Taylor, as the longtime partner of the renown Quarter Horse, Zippo LTD, who passed away earlier this year. A former AQHA youth and amateur competitor, Julia is now the founder and CEO of an Austin, Texas-based company, EverlyWell, that provides home health test kits for everything ranging from food sensitivity and fertility to STD and testosterone levels.
Over the weekend, Julia made history by landing a historic deal on ABC’s hit show, Shark Tank. According to local station, Austin360, Cheek received a $1 million credit line from Lori Grenier in exchange for 5% equity in her company. That’s the largest valuation for a solo female entrepreneur in the show’s history.
