The Florida Gulf Coast wrapped up on Thursday with Dressage classes concluding the second portion of a very well-attended AQHA circuit at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center in Tampa. The Gulf Coast recorded 12,100+ entries and the entire Gold and Gulf circuit combo had just shy of 26,000 AQHA entries and more than 3,400 NSBA entries.
According to An Equine Production Show Management Team, the event paid out $50,000 in jackpot money, and horses and exhibitors were in attendance from 37 states and two international countries.
Congratulations is in order for the High Point Champions! The Junior winner was Strutin To The Blues with Chuck Briggs. Reserve was Phat Tuesday with Carli Jerrell. Third was Extremely Salty with Chad Evans. The Senior winner was Un Forgettab Lee and Tyler Haney. Reserve was Check Required and Carly Parks. Third was Snap Krackle Pop and Kendra Weis. The Level 1/Green winner was Extremely Salty and Chad Evans. Reserve was Huntin A Hot Cowgirl and Carly/Wade Parks. Third was Check Required and Carly/Wade Parks.
The Level 1 (Novice) Amateur champion was Hot Hippie Chick and Abigail Graham. Reserve was Un Forgettab Lee and Sara Poppleton. Third was Check Required and Rebecca Figueroa. The Amateur winner was Better Buy The Minit and Morgan Ratkowski. Reserve was Version Of Goodbar and Sarah Lebsock. Third was Check Required and Rebecca Figueroa.
The Select winner was Strawberri Wine and Laina Banks. Reserve was Elite Iron and Megan Selvaggio. Third was Only One Request and Scott Reinartz. The Level 1 (Novice) Youth winner was Immortalized and Jenna Berghorst. Reserve was Flat Sophisticated and Lydia Menossi. Third was The One You Love and Victoria Raleigh. The Youth 13 & Under winner was The Perfect Kryme and Camille Kennedy. Reserve was Roses Only and Isabella Buckley. Third was Quita Machine and Elden Fredenburg.
The winner of Youth 14-18 was Natural Mover and Cameryn Kolinski. Reserve was MWS Flashed N Chock and Sydney Sargent. Third was Huntin A Hot Cowgirl and Alexa Black. The Small Fry winner was Chilln Ona Dirt Road and Lily Jones. Reserve was Famous N Foolish and Georgia Cook. Third was Dont Doubt Im Cool and Kendall Lavelle. The Level 1 Amateur W/J winner was Suddenly Goodtherapy and Laurie Stewart. Reserve was Laidback N Lazy and Nicole Williams. Third was Sweet And Semi Lazy and Morra Nevells. The Level 1 Youth W/J winner was Shifts Illusion and JohnShehee. Reserve was Beau Patrick and Annabele Steffens. Third was One Hot Bahama Mama and London Nietzer.
