The Solid Gold Futurity is back! The event kicked off today in conjunction with the Gateway Classic, May 25-28, in Lake St. Louis, MO. and the first few winners have already been named.
Winning the Maiden Open 3-Year-Old and Over Hunter Under Saddle and taking home a check for $2,200 was Alyse Roberts riding Exhotica. Roberts was in the irons today for owner Amanda Head. Exhotica is by the stallion, Hot N Blazing.
The big winner in the Maiden Open 3-Year-Old and Over Western Pleasure was Jon Barry with Extremely Vested. The team was presented with a $3,000 check for their efforts! Barry was in the saddle today for owner Lisa Freeman. Extremely Vested is by the stallion Extremely Hot Chips.
The Reserve Champion in the class was Adam Wainscott riding Good N Southern. Wainscott was in the saddle today for owner Christina Bruhn. The pair received $2,000 for the Reserve finish and a $500 bonus for being named the Intermediate Champion.
