Friday-
Hey y’all Happy Friday! As this week draws to an end, many champions were crowned and lots of goals were met. Here’s a fun fact for today. Many of you may not know, but Krymsun Bonanza Babe, aka “Bonnie,” who is now under the guidance of Jerrell Performance Horses of Kentucky used to be in the P5 barn. She also won the Amateur Performance Mares last here with former owner Marcy Lang. This year, she won Youth Performance Halter Mares with Brooke McConnell.
Today, Austin and Caroline, aka “Frog,” showed in the 14-18 and 13 and under Western Pleasure. Austin ended up 5th with AFancyRodder and Caroline ended up 6th. Tomorrow is Dailey’s big day to shine in Horsemanship and bring home some hardware.
Don’t forget to stop in and visit with some of our favorite vendors. We’re sad to see the week to come to an end, but lots of memories have been made. It all couldn’t have been achieved without our amazing trainers Brad, Vicki, and Carli Pitts!
See y’all bright and early for the Horsemanship!
Saturday-
We are back and it’s the last day of the show. All the cow classes and Youth Horsemanship took place and everyone is heading out. The Horsemanship classes had many entries, but only three winners: Rookie- Jessica Angle/Lopin By My Dreams, 13 and under- June Roberson/Magnetyzed, 14-18- Madison Parduhn/So Blazin Im Amazin.
It was very a competitive and great atmosphere! The cow classes had stiff competition too. It was a great week.
Many memories were made, food was eaten, and trophies are now on their way home with their deserving owners. It was an honor getting to blog for the Equine Chronicle! And that’s a wrap!
Until next time, Austin, Dailey, and Caroline
