Estelle McParlan Seizes Sun Circuit with Cool Made Machine

Estelle McParlan was having a lot of fun with Cool Made Machine, aka “Booker,” at Arizona Sun Circuit when we caught up to her on Sunday, March 10th. She grabbed the top spot in L3 Youth Trail 14-18 on Friday with him, not to mention taking second in the class with Amarillo By Moonlite.

She explains Booker is brand new to her, and she loves him because “He’s really easy going, and he tries really hard, and he’s sweet. He’s just a good boy all around.” Estelle also says when she rode him the first time, they just clicked – they also won their Western Pleasure the first day they showed at Sun Circuit, as well as winning their Hunter Under Saddle.

So far, she hasn’t determined her favorite event with Booker, but she says, “I really like Trail and Eq – he’s really fun in both. He does every single class except the Western Riding, but hopefully this year the trainers will get him started in that,” Estelle says.   Estelle and Booker also made the Final Four in the Youth Hunt Seat Equitation National Championship!
