AQHA stallion Extremely Hot Chips hit the triple jackpot during the Western Pleasure Super Sires classes that were held this afternoon during the 2016 Tom Powers Futurity in Berrien Springs, Michigan. The Equine Chronicle is proud to have been the presenting sponsor of both the Open Non-Pro 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure and Limited Non Pro 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure classes, both with a guaranteed $10,000 being awarded to the winner.
Over the course of just three years, the innovative Western Pleasure Super Sires program has paid out over $219,000 to lucky recipients. This year, the competition included a brand new class, the Sante Medical Aesthetics Non Pro Yearling Longe Line, which presented $5,000 to the winner. Yesterday, Kurt Heling led Touch N Go Show to the big win. Click here for complete results and photos.
This afternoon, co-champions were crowned in the Open Non-Pro Three-Year-Old Western Pleasure. Both Becky Galyean with Extreme Moonlite and Nancy Ditty with Extremely Good Stuff were named champions. Then, in the Limited Non Pro Three-Year-Old Western Pleasure, Aubrey Alderman showed Decidedly A Diva to a big $10,000 win. All three horses were sired by Extremely Hot Chips!
