The first photo shows Eleanor Harowicz riding prelims cross country at Marlboro Horse Trials in Maryland on her Thoroughbred, Glasnevin, in 2003.
In the second photo, she’s on her AQHA mare, Laced With Moonlite, showing the Level 1 Amateur Horsemanship in Venice at Fox Lea Farms this year.
“I made the switch to Quarter Horses in 2008 after college because my friend, Ali Hubbell, let me ride her Appaloosa Zips Snowstorm who was just so broke it was amazing,” says Eleanor. “I had gotten Ali to do some eventing with me when we were both in high school, but I guess you could say she won that argument!”
Thanks to Eleanor for an amazing Transformation Tuesday set of photos!
