In hand obstacle relay with MFF Echo Of The War Horse. Was supposed to be trotting a circle, ended up running over the trot poles.

Walked all confidence and proper into my showmanship class did my pattern walked out proud…then my trainer told me I had my hat on backwards and had one pant leg sticking in my boot.
Oh I forgot to add I forgot the pattern and did a partial free style. Then remembered the pattern and had a perfect pattern for the last part. I tried to be as cool as a fool could be.

I took this shot of my friend’s daughter adding a maneuver in Showmanship with her gelding at the All American Youth Horse Show.

My gelding, who has since passed over, was Mr personality. Unknown to me, we were at our last show ever. We walked to the judge for showmanship set up. Did that perfect. Judge had a bright green floral shirt on. Saw the look I’m thinking from him, and then so fast, he reached out and smoogled her chest. That part of her chest. She started laughing, I apologized. We still managed to place fifth. I think it was out of pity.

NSBA World 2021 – L1 Am Showmanship 😂 Got up, finished the pattern. Luckily redeemed ourselves a few days later winning a Reserve World Championship in Equitation.
Cassie Peters
I was maybe 8 years old and we used show sheen for halter class and then I slid right off in the bareback class but climbed the rails of the arena and got back on my horse so embarrassed – lol.
Coleen Minnick
Can’t believe I stayed on.
Nicole Wilson
My pants dropped as I was doing a showmanship pattern at Gold N Grand because I was wearing spanx; luckily my spanx and pants were both black. I did my quarters, got excused from the judge, thanked the judge, hiked up my pants and did the pivot to end the pattern.
Tanya Robacker
Yes, this says left arena.

I was going for high point, all around, something like that, at a show. It included halter or showmanship and my mare was a huge fan of those classes 😑. The showmanship had several entries, we were mid pack and I hadn’t noticed she had fallen asleep. She proceeded to yawn, stretch, and shake it off, while I faced the judge trying not to laugh or cry. I miss that mare.

Here I am buttoning up my shirt in front of the judge after it got caught on the horn in a rollback and I flashed the whole crowd.
(For the curious, this does result in a score of 0!)

I’ve been waiting 11 years for this day.
My first time making the world show finals in the equitation over fences, my first time getting a globe. Went up to get my photo and my awards, they handed me a bag with a few things in it. Had that bag hanging on one arm, my hand on the reins and the globe in the other hand.
The bag started brushing against my horses side, he was not a fan of this. He starts spinning to get away from the bag, I had my hand on the buckle of the rein and had absolutely no control. Rookie mistake. At this point, I accepted my fate and started mentally planning my crash landing in a way that would not break the globe.
I not-so-gracefully made my exit from my saddle, and luckily there was a photo taken right as I hit the ground. While my ego was bruised, my trophy was in one piece. Great (and mildly traumatizing) 2011 world show memories.
