EC Photo of the Day- Flashback Friday

We remember taking these photos back in 2011 and are so glad that Meredith Milton rediscovered them once again!

“I’ve been on the hunt for this photo since the day my grandfather passed March 30, 2020. This photo was taken summer of 2011 at the AJPHA Youth World show. It was a hot evening and I had just been announced World Champion in the 13&U Hunter Under Saddle with my mount at the time — The Big Maneuver (JJ).”

“This photo is so special because of many reasons. Yes, the victory was great, becoming a World Champion is great, but this photo is more much than that. It so accurately depicts my support system: My parents and my grandparents.”

“Nonny and Papa would come to every show I had in the DFW area, and if they couldn’t make it they sure as hell watched the live stream. To have them there in this moment back in 2011 was so special then, but to have it on photo and be able to see it now that my grandfather has passed… even better.”
