The last of the over fence classes have concluded here at the 2014 AQHYA World Championship Show, and we saw a few familiar faces in the winner’s circle. Billie Henard scored a double win with Twothousand Model Te in Equitation Over Fences and Jumping.
To start off the morning, Henard bested a field of 71 entries to claim the World Championship spot in Equitation Over Fences. The Reserve World Champion in the class was Gentry Cherry aboard Steady Spirit. Rounding out the top three was Kristin Hull with Into The Blue.
Next, Henard returned to pen for Jumping. She was one of four entries that qualified for a high stakes jump-off. In the end, it was clean over speed that seemed to be the best strategy. Coming in a close second to Henard was Mallory Myers with Darn That Kat. Rounding out the top three was Maisye Tucker with Lukes Like Lisa.
Finally, the Hunter Hack competition concluded with Kristin Hull and Into The Blue in the top spot. The Reserve World Champion was Reilly Medma with Notaminutetoosoon. Rounding out the top three was Natalie Vargo with Art Of The Deal.
