Yesterday was a long day. It started with Trail Finals, and my friend Susie Johns was the Reserve World Champion and Kathy Tobin was in the Top Ten! Congrats!
Next, came the Showmanship Finals. I was the Reserve World Champion and my friend Anne Wilson was the Champion, for the 5th consecutive year! What an amazing feat!
Next up was the Hunt Seat Equitation Preliminaries. There was lots going on yesterday, Halter, Roping and the Hunter Under Saddle Preliminaries. In the Hunter Under Saddle class, several of my friends got through to the Finals: Kirsten Farris, Missy Shumway, and Suzanne Sherick. Good luck on Friday in the Finals!
Eventually, we got to the Equitation Preliminaries about 11 pm, where I made the Finals! Anne also made it back; it will be a very tough class! Finally, I got a bite to eat and went to bed at 1 am. Horsemanship is this morning, and then we have Equitation later on.
I want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who has been following my journey and sending me messages of congratulations and support! Your thoughts, prayers, and love really help keep me pumped up and enthusiastic!
More later…..
