The 2014 Silver Dollar Circuit kicked off yesterday at the beautiful South Point Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and will continue through March 23rd. One of AQHA top ten circuits in the country, the Silver Dollar Circuit will offer six sets of points to AQHA competitors. Judges for the show are Will Knabenshue, Stephanie Lynn, Steve Meadows, Judd Paul, Curtis Reynolds, and Bruce Walquist.
Some construction is underway to develop South Point into one of the premier equine facilities in the country with three fully indoor arenas. To accommodate construction, all classes at the 2014 show will be held inside the Main Indoor Arena.
Once again, novice competitors are able to compete in regular amateur and youth classes for free, and novice, amateur, and youth will be able to show in corresponding open classes for free.
Here’s a look at initial class numbers from a few of the classes during the competition.

Because the Silver Dollar Circuit will be utilizing the new and improved AQHA Leveling system, there will be different levels of classes listed on the results page. For example, the previous leveling system utilized titles like Novice, Green, Intermediate, Progressive, and Open. Now, instead of seeing class titles like Novice Amateur Western Pleasure, Intermediate Amateur Western Pleasure, and Open Amateur Western Pleasure, the results will show Level 1 Amateur Western Pleasure, Level 2 Amateur Western Pleasure, and Level 3 Amateur Western Pleasure.
