The 2017 Worldwide Paint Horse Congress kicked off in spectacular fashion today in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will continue throughout this week, concluding on Sunday, August 6th. Once again offering the “Show to 8, Pay For 4” option, entry counts are on the rise, which is impressive considering that the show was named the #2 Top APHA show in the country last year. Just this morning, there were 99 horses in the Overo Color Class alone!
In expectation of even more growth this year, show management expanded class offerings to include Ranch Trail, Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Riding, and Ranch Reining, for both regular registry and Solid Paint Bred horses in youth, amateur and open divisions. That’s in addition to more NSBA dual approved classes, the Elite class series, and the All American Appaloosa Congress that will be held in the Super Duty Arena.
