With the exception of Leadline, Walk-Trot Showmanship is probably one of the most watched classes held here at the AjPHA Youth World Championship Show. Some of the tiniest competitors, aged five through ten, get all dressed up in their horse show finery to tackled a pattern, on foot, with their trusty equine partners.
This afternoon, the competition was very tough, but one little girl dressed in green and pink rose above the rest to be named the unanimous World Champion. Ms. Taylor Eller piloted Sonny Dee Zippin to win Walk Trot Showmanship 5-10. The Reserve World Champion was Landyn Kidd with Watch Tuf Shine. In a fun turn of events, Lanna Grace Kidd, was named third with Zippos Final Glo.
Coming in fourth was Skylar Vandorp with LBS Radical Formula. Representing the gentlemen in fifth place was Brady Hattan with RL To Be Famous. One of the smallest competitors, Ms. Piper Love, placed sixth with Im Axle Rose.
Cara Christensen and Good and Rite placed seventh. Ms. Harper Smith and Double Shot of Scotch came in eighth. Airyann Conn and Awesome Appeal placed ninth. Emily Miller and Zip To The Bank rounded out the top ten.
Another gentleman, Levi Lutjelusche, led C What Heaven Sent to an eleventh place finish. Kendal Fellegy and her Fancy Sneakers collected a twelfth place ribbon. Hannah White and Another Gentleman placed thirteenth. Catherin Blackmon and Impulsion were fourteenth. Addison Kerwin and Shinning Goodies placed fifteenth.
Congratulations to all of these young competitors on a job well done!
