Do you have what it takes to be a Cowboy Ninja Warrior? The National Snaffle Bit Foundation is excited to be putting on a fun and fast-paced competition that will test the mental skill and physical endurance of “Cowboy Ninjas” at the 2020 Arizona Sun Circuit.
The event will take place Tuesday, March 3rd at 5:30 pm in conjunction with the Johns Family Dinner Party in the Wendell Arena. Teams must consist of four people- two male and two female. Team members must be exhibitors, barn staff, trainers, vendors, or horse owners at the Sun Circuit.
In order to enter your team, you first must pick a Team Name. Team Squats with Spurs? Team Crouching Stallion Hidden Mare. Be creative!
Then, you must select a team captain. The team captain can participate in the competition or may just be an honorary captain. If the number of entries warrant, there will be a time trial held prior to the finals. There will also be a calcutta.
The entry deadline is Sunday, March 1st at noon. Teams may enter online or turn in an entry form to the Sun Circuit or NSBA office. Entry is $40 per team and can be paid at the show.
There will be prizes for both individuals and teams and team members will receive t-shirts. But, most importantly, all proceeds from this event will benefit the NSBA Crisis Fund. The Crisis Fund was established to help horse industry professionals in need. Funds may be distributed based on financial need that arises from a hardship, such as an injury, illness, natural disaster, ect. For more information, or to make a donation to the NSBA Trainers Crisis Fund, please contact the NSBA Office at (847)-623-6722.
