The Equine Chronicle would like to congratulate our good friends, Amanda Wallinger-Rowan and her husband Tom, as well as big sister Gigi, on a new addition to their family! Axel Thomas Rowan was born on February 18th, 2018 and weighs six pounds, 15 ounces.
Both momma and her little cowboy are doing wonderfully and are surrounded by family and friends.
In case you kept up with our 2017 coverage of the AQHA World Show and Quarter Horse Congress, Amanda and her horses had a fantastic 2017 season, and she did it all while pregnant! At the 2017 AQHA World Show, Amanda led a homebred weanling named Dimplez, by her family’s stallion, Acoolest Touchdown, to win Amateur Weanling Fillies. Click here to read her interview.
The filly has had a spectacular year, winning the Open Senior Fillies at the Breeders’ Halter Futurity, the Congress Elite Futurity in Open and Amateur, and the Congress Championship in Open, Amateur, and Limited. Then, she capped off the AQHA World Show by winning Open Weanling Fillies with trainer, Chris Arentsen. Click here to read more.
A big congratulations on the newest addition to the Rowan family! We will have to get an Equine Chronicle onesie ready…!
