Not only is new mom, Carly Veldman-Parks, busy pulling double duty here at the APHA World Show with her newborn son, Caden Wade Parks, in tow, she’s also dominating the Trail pen. This morning, Carly was not only named the World Champion in Green Trail but also the Reserve World Champion!
Carly rode One Lazy Cowboy to be named the World Champion in the class for owner Caitlin Tenewitz of Reddick, Florida. One Lazy Cowboy is a 2013 gelding by the AQHA stallion, Lazy Loper, and out of Onesensationalcowgirl.
Carly also rode Noterized to place Reserve for owner Ted Foster of Calhoun, LA. Noterized is a 2011 gelding by Radicalized and out of A Truly Cool Fleet.
But she’s not done yet. We didn’t have time to chat with Carly following her wins this morning, because she drew the first spot in the working order in the very next class, Senior Trail preliminaries! Not only that, Carly will be showing three horses in that class this morning: Krymsunized, VR Knockyour Socksoff, and A Krymsun Legacy.
We wish this busy lady the best of luck!
Third place in Green Trail this morning was Brian Isbell with Huntin An Invitation. Fourth was Monica Webb with JZA Jewelontherange. Fifth was Karen Qualls with She’s The One N Only.
