CLARIFICATION – TWO INDEPENDENT/SEPARATE SHOWS: World Wide Paint Horse Congress and Green Country Paint Horse Show

“Since there is some confusion regarding the World Wide Paint Horse Congress and the Green Country Paint Horse shows, we felt it beneficial to explain the situation,” stated Congress Chair Casey West. “These two shows (WWPHC 8 judges and GCPHC 4 judges) are independent of each other. They are two separate, independent shows, being held at the same facility, in different arenas, with ALL stall reservations/payments being made to Diane Gage, Congress Show Secretary.”

“The Congress classes and events take place in the Ford Truck Arena, which is the main show arena, starting on Wednesday, July 30th running through Sunday, August 3rd. The Green County Paint Horse Club shows are in the Mustang Arena, Wednesday, July 30th and Thursday, July 31st. Each class schedule is independent of the other. Each show has its own show office, judges, and awards.”

Exhibitors showing at the Paint Horse Congress should send Diane Gage the applicable Congress stall fees. These exhibitors may participate in Green Country Paint Horse Club classes without having to pay any additional stall fees.

Exhibitors showing only at the Green Country Paint Horse Club shows should send Diane Gage the applicable GCPHC stall fee/ground fee of $75. Should a GCPHC exhibitor wish to participate in any Congress classes, an additional amount equal to the applicable Congress stall fee will apply.

WORLD SHOW QUALIFYING STATUS

Both shows count for up to two shows each IF all judges are shown to. For shows that are held over the July/August weekend, IF the horse is shown in July then the ENTIRE event counts towards 2014 qualifying. IF the horse is shown beginning in August, then the show counts for the 2015 qualifying.

Since both the WWPHC and GCPHC shows start in July, both count for 2014 qualifying IF the horse starts showing in July.
