Cherish the Children – More From the Sun Circuit Youth Arena
“Cherish your children… for they are the footprints you will leave behind.” – Taylor Evan Fulks.
We’d like to stop to take a moment to recognize more of our winning youth from this year’s Arizona Sun Circuit!
We all love the horse! Though horses will teach youth lessons we can never teach ourselves, we’d love to encourage everyone, rather than joining the rampant criticizing we’ve seen recently on social media, to uplift the youth for their hard work, dedication, and love of the horse. The legacy of the horse is one we want to pass along for generations.
Hats off to these Sun Circuit Youth:
Shiloh Harbison and Gota Lota Assets, who ride with Teresa Sullivan, had a very successful show, ending up High Point L 1 Walk Trot and Reserve High Point 10 & Under, explains Summer Harbison. “Total of 43 first places, 4 circuit champs and 2 reserve circuit champs.”
Shiloh says, “I’m very excited that Kassie and I made our goal of improving our scores in all our classes from last year . I’m really proud of my horse Kassie – she’s my best friend!”
Sarah Harnish and The Divorce Attorney, who ride with Shannon McCulloch, won the Color Youth Horsemanship Circuit and the Color Youth Hunt Seat Equitation Circuit!
Carmen Ross and Willya Be Lazy, who also ride with Shannon McCulloch, won their Youth 14-18 Showmanship Circuit Championship and their L1 Hunter Under Saddle Youth Circuit Championship – they also made the Final 4 National Championship for Youth Showmanship!
Congratulations to these youth, their families, and their trainers for their hard work and success!
