Filed under: Club & Show News,Club and Show News,Community |

March 7-9, 2025, will mark the 42nd consecutive year of the Michigan Horse Expo, one of the longest running equine events in the country.  The focus is always on the horse and the equestrian.  Vendors, classroom presentations, clinics, demonstrations, rodeo, a mane event, and our youth area bring in well over 20,000 people that attend the 3-day Michigan Horse Expo in East Lansing, Michigan at the Farm Bureau Pavilion at Michigan State University.

There is always something that everyone will enjoy at the Michigan Horse Expo. Mare owners can view stallions of different breeds from around the Great Lakes Area in the Stallion Alley. Dozens of clinics, seminars and educational events are presented by top horse professionals from both Michigan and around the country.

The Michigan Horse Expo will be having Jake Ream from the hit TV Show Yellowstone as our main clinician. To add onto the excitement Jake will be bringing a couple celebrity friends (including Dawn Olivieri and Danielle Vasinova) for the duration of the expo. They will also be our featured act in the “Mane Event” where they will be competing in a Pro/Celebrity Cutting Competition. To top off the excitement the Michigan Mustang Series will be hosting a 3-day Colt Starting Competition during the duration of the Michigan Horse Expo.

Do you like to shop? Then the Michigan Horse Expo is the place for you! More than 200 booths offer shopping opportunities for anything that has to do with a horse.

Thrill to the action of the Michigan High School Rodeo Association Rodeo on Friday evening, as well as the unique combined Mounted Police Color Presentation each day.

The Michigan Horse Expo® is produced and owned by the Michigan Horse Council (MHC). All proceeds from the Michigan Horse Expo® are returned to the MHC and are used to ‘Promote and Protect’ the equine industry in Michigan, through leadership, education, service and communication.”
