Continue reading …Instead of cutting off his airway trying to close a too-tight collar by buttoning, use a mane band for an adjustable closure. Attach the band around one side of the button, twist a time or two to adjust the length, then slide through button hole, and hook back around the button. The tie will cover up the rubber band. Voila!

Continue reading …In Horsemanship, freshman Jenna Jacobs scored her first TCU point and helped the Purple and White secure a 3-2 victory over SMU. Jacobs dropped Hannah McCain, 72-71, while Megan McMullen totaled a 73.5-71 decision over SMU’s Jaclyn White to post her first MOP ride of the young season. Senior Erin Gillette rounded out the TCU notables, dropping Ashley Mauney, 74-73.5.
