Although likely none of the kids in this photo will have seen the 1985 comedy-drama starring Emilio Estevez, Anthony Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, and Ally Sheedy, the movie explores themes they will be quite familiar with. The bond that can form among people from different backgrounds who share a common experience. The discovery that we’re all more alike than we are different. The effect that a group of close-knit friends can have on your life. These are among the reasons why our youth show horses, after all.
