Annual vaccinations are essential for the health of the horse and to help prevent disease outbreaks. The AAEP recommends that all adult horses receive vaccinations for Eastern/Western Equine Encephalitis, tetanus, West Nile virus, and rabies. Depending on your geographical region and your horse’s travel schedule, there may be additional vaccines that are required, which is why your veterinarian is the best resource for developing a vaccination plan.

Entries Still Accepted – The entry deadline for the May INTERNET auction is April 17th, however, entries will be accepted for a short time after that date.  Early entries will still be promoted through our extensive email and social media campaign.  

The winning riders in the SOQHA Madness Equine Chronicle Maiden 3 and Over Western Pleasure and the Madness Novice Horse 3 and Over Western Pleasure will receive an additional $2,000 each, if they’re showing in a Harris saddle.

With the new schedule, bidding will open on Monday, March 25 at 9:00 AM Eastern time.  The Spring Reining and Cow Horse Auction entries will close first, with approximately 15 horses offered.  The March Internet Auction entries beginning with Lot number 31.  Bidding will close on Thursday, March 28, beginning at 7:00 PM.

For the March INTERNET Auction bidding will also open on March 23rd and close on Thursday, March 28th.   

Bidding for the February INTERNET Auction will be open on Monday, February 25th and will close on Wednesday, February 27th
