Continue reading …The AQHA Level 1 Championships are slated for spring 2018 with the AQHA Central Championships held in Oklahoma City, kicking off the trio of championships. That show is followed by the AQHA West Level 1 Championships in Las Vegas, and the Nutrena East Level 1 Championships in Raleigh, North Carolina. Exhibitors can compete at only one of the three Level 1 Championships each year.

Continue reading …Exhibitors can qualify to compete in Level 3 13-&-Under western pleasure, hunter under saddle, horsemanship, hunt seat equitation, showmanship, ranch riding and trail at the 2018 Ford Youth World. The world champion, reserve world champion, top-10 placings and five finalists will be awarded in each Level 3 13-&-Under class. Winners in the 13-&-Under classes will be awarded as a one-go-round format.

Other winners this afternoon included As The World Terms with both Becca Hurst in the Open and Penny Jargella in the Amateur Select, UF A Light Smoke and Emma Garcia in the Novice Youth Equitation, and Good Going Danica and Karen Boxell in the Select Equitation.

There were many across the board winners including Jessica Baird with Cool Lopin Lady in the Novice Amateur, Logan Wheeler with Best Believe It in the Amateur, Ellexxah Maxwell with Zips Bossy Chip in the Youth, and Jennifer Paul with Some Hot Potential in that 30-head Senior class.
