“Personally, my prelims was the best I’d ever had, so going into the finals I didn’t think I could do any better,” she says.

“Having Mom and Dad being my horse trainers is all about perspective. There are times when it’s hard, but there are times when it’s very rewarding, because your biggest supporters are your parents, and they’re also your trainers.”

Paulina Martz started the 2017 AQHA Youth World on the right note by claiming her third World Championship title in a row with Onlythebestchocolate, aka “Hershey,” in Performance Halter Mares. This is the fourth career title in the class for Paulina and the 10-year-old mare.
