Many of the top 25 exhibitors in the rankings enjoyed a good World Show experience, and we’re likely to see some of those names edge up the list, which should inspire others to show more to improve their standings.

Days earlier, the owner left for a vacation in a remote place with no phone nor internet access. Despite hours of effort, the stable cannot find the horse owner. Finally, with no way of knowing whether the owner will approve costly surgery, the stable directs the veterinarian to euthanize the suffering horse.

At the 2018 AQHA Convention, held in Jacksonville, Florida, the Show Committee announced the addition of a new class, Working Hunter Under Saddle, scheduled to debut in the 2019 show season.

Continue reading …Moving forward, there will be two divisions- Western and English. “To be honest, I don’t think there is an actual English program like this out there,” says Stephen Stephens. “Like Joan said, we will start out in 2019 and for any sire that signs up in the English division, yearlings by that stallion will get a deal with nomination right into the Longe Line class that year with a $5,000 guaranteed purse to the winner.”
Continue reading …Kathy Tobin and VS Game Changer won both the BCF 4-6 YO Non Non Pro Trail and Select Trail. Kathy has owned 6-year-old “TJ” since he was three. This pretty roan won Junior Western Riding at the Congress last year and Non Pro 4-6 Western Riding here at the NSBA World in 2017. Kathy feels his best event is Trail.
