The Stars N Stripes took place June 26th-28th and closed unofficially with 7,500+ AQHA entries across all judges. Despite the recent COVID-19 shutdowns, that’s a marked increase over 2019 numbers, which saw 6,482 entries.

The bad news was that she severed an artery, and it was confirmed that the laceration did reach the coffin joint. She had completely severed the long digital extensor and medial collateral ligament. Infection was a major concern also, since the injury had not been able to be cleaned until the artery was tied off and the bleeding controlled through surgery.

As a result, she will not be able to attend the AQHA Youth World Show this fall to watch her daughter, Samantha, compete with Beamer. So, her barn crew decided to make signs, decorate the truck, deck out Beamer, and parade through her neighborhood in McKinney, Texas, much to the delight of local residents.

The Indiana Celebration Concludes With 10,000+ Entries During 10-Day Event

After ten days spent in Cloverdale, IN. The Indiana Celebration racked up approximately 10,000 AQHA entries across ten judges, according to An Equine Management. The show was the result of the combination of the IQHYA Show and IQHA State Show that were joined as a result of schedule changes because of cancellations due to COVID-19.
