Then for the AEP (only) shows, we will keep your points, similar to a state year-end program. We will award, at the end of the show period, year-end high points in the following divisions: Open Jr, Open Sr, L1 Amateur, Amateur, Select, L1 Youth, 13 & under, 14-18 & Small Fry. (If a particular show has classes leveled, L2 & L3, both levels will count towards that division.) In the non-pro divisions, points will count as a horse/rider combination.

Horses in Open classes and horses and riders in Youth and Amateur classes are required to participate in the corresponding dual approved class a minimum of five times within the qualifying period of May 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020. Those who do not qualify may enter with an additional $150 qualification fee per class.

Continue reading …The nine-day event consisted of 85 Non-Pro and 97 Open classes, as well as 37 specialty classes hosted by Appaloosa Cutting Horse Association (ApCHA), Appaloosa Reining Horse Association (ApRHA), Appaloosa Halter Futurity (AHF), Appaloosa Pleasure Horse Association (ApPHA) and the Appaloosa Game Horse Association (AGHA). Participants who took part in these classes showcased the skills and abilities of their horses while also receiving cash and prizes. Throughout the course of the show, 2,200 entries were shown. Classes with the most entries included Non-Pro Ranch Riding and Senior Trail, with 31 and 33 entries respectively.
